Term one of the ITST program offers a comprehensive exploration of essential IT concepts alongside crucial soft skills necessary for success in the modern workplace. This course is designed to equip we with foundational knowledge in hardware, software, networking, and security, while also fostering personal and professional development through soft skills training and indigenous teaching methodologies.

Throughout the course, we will delve into topics such as PC hardware and peripherals, operating systems, network fundamentals, cybersecurity principles, and troubleshooting techniques. Practical, hands-on activities, including lab exercises and simulations.

This course also places a strong emphasis on soft skills development, including career exploration, effective communication, conflict management, and cultural sensitivity. Indigenous teaching methods will be interwoven throughout the curriculum, incorporating traditional knowledge and practices to enrich the learning experience and promote inclusivity.


Term two is where the course builds upon foundational knowledge, deepening technical proficiency in hardware, software, networking, and security.
